The 12/12 Bone Drake clear is the single most-asked build question in An Average Campaign. This guide walks through the meta composition as of v0.4.3.
Composition
Two-player composition: Artificer (Mage) + Beast (Brawler). The Artificer drops a Turret on turn 1; the Beast applies Bleed stacks via Garrote and Unleash, then unleashes Wild Swipes on the priority target. Solo: Druid with the Bear companion.
Stat Allocation (Level 25 cap)
For the Artificer: INT 150 / DEX 75. The Turret reads DEX as its highest non-INT and inherits Snipe. The Artificer themselves casts Mana Beam on cooldown. For the Beast: DEX 100 / LCK 75 / STR 50. DEX for Crit, LCK to chase the Recursive Critical probability curve.
Boon Loadout
Predation Boon, Jagged Edge Boon, Force of Will Boon, Critical Overdrive Boon (if available). Total: 170 Cealts and 6 Boon slots. The Critical Overdrive is non-negotiable — it gives 100% Turn 1 Crit Chance and +50% Crit Damage for the encounter.
Race
Artificer: Elf (the Energy → Crit conversion is the largest single offensive modifier available to a Mage). Beast: Lunaeia (15% lifesteal against bleeding targets funds the multi-hit rotation).
Boss Strategy
Dreadlord's Call on Turn 1 cannot be blocked or dodged. The opening 5 Poison + 3 Banefire + 1 Fear is the run-defining damage event. Bring Cleansing Boon (Druid) to strip the Fear. Bring Force of Will to catch the Necregenesis on low-HP targets.
Banefire Math
Banefire ticks at (MaxHP * 0.015) + 1 per turn. At 100 HP, that's 2.5/turn per stack; with 3 stacks from Dreadlord's Call, 7.5/turn before party healing. Bringing one more party member reduces the per-target tick by spreading HP, but adds an extra Neceneris target. Net: 3-party is the meta composition if running without a dedicated healer.
