How to Unlock Bard of Valor

The Forest-oriented route for the official Bard of Valor subclass, plus preparation advice for finding its encounter efficiently.

· · ·

Quick answer: run Bard through the Forest and take the Bard of Valor subclass encounter when it appears.

Preparation

Begin as Bard.
Keep the Forest route open rather than rushing into an unrelated subclass.
Reserve enough health and resources to complete the encounter.

After unlocking

Use Valor when the party needs protection and tempo support. Exact ability values should be read from the live game because Alpha balance changes quickly.
