A version-labelled checklist for pursuing the official Bard of Whispers subclass without confusing it with the Forest Valor route.

Quick answer: start as Bard and pursue the Whispers-specific route instead of accepting Bard of Valor in the Forest.

Checklist

Select Bard at the start of the run.
Skip the Valor commitment if Whispers is the target.
Preserve the run through the later route where the Whispers encounter is documented.
Complete the subclass encounter.

The official Trello confirms the subclass. The live encounter path should be checked in game because the board does not publish a stable patch-by-patch dialogue script.
